How do you grow wildflowers and plants from the paper?
To plant the paper, prepare a pot of soil or small patch of garden. Place plantable paper on top and cover with a thin layer of soil. Water well and give plenty of sunshine. Keep moist during germination. As the plants grow right out of the paper, look for flowers like Bird's Eye, Clarkia, Black Eyed Susan, Poppy, Catchfly and Snap Dragon.
Why Use Plantable Paper?
For so many reasons! Because Botanical PaperWorks' plantable paper is "tree-free", so that no trees were cut down to make this plantable paper. The base fiber is cotton or 100% post-consumer waste. Botanical Paperworks collects post-consumer waste from businesses and schools in their local area of Winnipeg, MB and uses this waste as the basis for their plantable seed eco-friendly paper. Through this collection, they save the local landfill 10 tons of paper per year. And, the paper is made with pure North American wildflower seeds by skilled papermakers paid a living wage in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
