Loading... Please wait...ENVIROCYCLE COMPOSTERS make composting easy and mess free! With the rotating drum and sleek design, they fit nicely in your backyard, on your patio or even on your balcony where you simply rotate the composter on its base for effective mixing and aeration. You no longer have to hand mix and turn a compost pile. The unique design of the base collects "compost tea" which acts as a highly effective liquid fertilizer! Not only are Envirocycle Composters easy to use but they also allow you to compost 12 months a year! In winter months, move the Envirocycle Composter/ Composteamaker close to your home for easy access. Do not turn the unit. Continue to add waste. COMPOSTING TIPS
How to Use your Envirocycle Composter:
Part 1:
• Collect any household waste in an adequately sized container.
• Toss kitchen and garden waste in drum opening, close and secure lid, and rotate drum.
• Smaller pieces compost faster.
• Always maintain a 50/50 ratio of green and brown material.
• As an option, add soil to activate first batch.
Part 2:
• Rotate drum 3 times a week to ensure perfect mix and air circulation.
• Add more brown material or simply rotate drum should any odour develop.
• Keep material moist, not wet.
• As drum becomes heavier, use a back and forth rocking motion.
• For best results, do not fill drum more than 3/4 full.
Part 3:
• To empty the composter, roll the drum to desired spot. Detach door and tip for easy removal of solid compost.
• For the compostea, dilute it with approximately 10 parts water to 1 part compostea before use.
• For use on indoor plants, aerate compost on lawn or in open container for approximately 1-2 days to remove excess moisture.
• As an option, leave a handful of finished compost to activate the next batch.
Part 4:
• Base collects compostea (liquid fertilizer) for use on indoor and outdoor plant soil.
• Dilute with approximately 10 parts water to 1 part compostea before use.
• A cycle for finished compost and compostea takes between 4 to 6 weeks.
• To speed up the composting process, simply rotate the drum more often.
